Group Classes

The Lifetime membership is for the life of your dog and provides unlimited follow-up group classes, annual picnics and parties for dogs, as well as receiving a discount training future dogs and boarding.

Group Classes are an integral part of our training. This unique program allows you and your dog to participate in guided weekly group classes where you will practice your skills, receive feedback from a variety of trainers and dog owners and provide socialization and “real world” training experience around multiple distractions. We also teach new skills, drills and activities to make you and your dog the envy of the neighborhood. It will keep your dog training skills sharp, and the dogs have a great time!

Please come watch a group class to see the highest level of training offered anywhere in New York. Meet new clients who are still learning the basics and see our veterans who have been showing up for years. No appointment is needed. Our results speak for themselves!

We have weekday and weekend group dog training classes in Long Island (Melville and Wantagh) and in Rockaway, Queens. We have postponed Manhattan classes, but if you are interested, let us know!

Annual Picnics

Each year the BFDT community has a Doggie Picnic where all Lifetime Members have the opportunity to take their dogs out for some food, fun and games. We go “all out” at our annual picnics including a BBQ feast for the humans (Yeah we like them too!), a doggie costume competition and games including doggie baseball, “fetch the hotdog” and a form of musical chairs. We’ve also taken some great summer trips to Montauk for some al fresco dining with dogs ! You can see pictures of our picnics in our photo gallery.

Holiday Parties

For the past few years we’ve held Holiday Parties where our community gathers together to celebrate the holiday season. There is a grab-bag for the dogs and food and treats for all. You can see pictures of our parties in our photo gallery.

Regular Meet-Ups

Not only will your dogs get to socialize, you may make a few new human friends as well! Be sure to join our Facebook Page and see what’s new.
